ANGEL UPDATE NOV 11-15

Another great week at St. Michael’s!  Thank you for your participation in our Parent/Student/Teacher Interviews.  Our teachers were excited to share the wonderful strengths that each of your children have.  If you were unable to make your interview, please feel free to reach out to the classroom teacher and another time will be set up for you.

REMEMBRANCE DAY – Please wear red on Monday

Let us pray for all who suffer as a result of conflict,
and ask that God may give us peace:
for the service men and women
who have died in the violence of war,
each one remembered by and known to God;
may God give peace.
God give peace.

Mr. Syme’s class will be taking the lead in honouring our veterans in our Remembrance Day Assembly.  This will take place on Monday November 11th from 10:45 to 11:05.  Thank you to all students and staff that are making it a priority to REMEMBER!  Please wear red on Monday in Remembrance.

SPIRIT METER REWARD!  WHOLE SCHOOL ICE CREAM PARTY!

Our Angels have been showing great spirit this year!  They are wearing their new shirts with pride, encouraging each other on the field and practicing their Umbrella Skills every day.  We were rewarded by reaching our first milestone with our Spirit Meter with a whole school Ice Cream Party!  Students enjoyed the tasty treat and smiles were everywhere!

LEARNING COMMONS ACTION!

Our Learning Commons is a booming place!  In collaboration with Classroom Teachers, Mrs. Starr, our amazing Library Tech is supporting our technology initiatives in the school by helping students become more aware of what is available.  Our FDK students are learning about spheros, our Primary students are learning about Microbits and everyone is enjoying the new flexible seating options!  We love our new space!  Thank you Mrs. Starr for all you do!!
